The under 17s started the league campaign with a good victory over local rivals Crosfields to win 38 - 12.

Due to teams dropping out/re-entering the league, we have a revised fixture list as follows;

The U15's are playing a friendly on Sunday 15th August at home against West Bank Blacks - ko 11.30a.m.

Burtonwood Bulldogs have decided to form a 'Masters' team, to give anyone over the age of 35 a chance to play the game of Rugby League in an environment with the emphasis firmly on enjoyment and socialising.

Masters RL caters for all ages from 35+ with no upper limit on age and employs a system based on different coloured shorts to offer varying degrees of contact to protect the more, ahem, 'stately' gents on the team.

All games are friendlies and many local clubs are now forming teams as Masters RL is really taking off. Rules are as normal with the only addition being that it's compulsory to buy your opposite number a post match drink.

Everyone is welcome, we will be 'training' on the middle pitch from Wed 4th August 7.30-8.30. Oxygen tanks and defibrillators are on order.....

The U15's will be bag packing at Morrisons, Stockton Heath raising funds for the club this Sunday 18th July - if anyone can spare any amount of time during the day, 10am - 4pm please do come along and join us.
